High school graduating seniors can now apply for the Copper River Watershed Project’s $1,000 scholarship.
The competition is open to any graduating senior seeking continuing education who can explain how his or her current education goals will benefit the economy, culture, and/or environment of the Copper River watershed.
Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded: one to a graduating student from the Copper Basin, and one to a graduating student from the Cordova area.
Applications are due April 5.
