Majority Whip Louise Stutes, R-Kodiak, has been named to the leadership team of the Alaska House Majority, the newly formed team announced Feb. 19.
Stutes will also chair the House Fisheries committee and serve as co-chair, with Rep. Adam Wool, D-Fairbanks, on the House Transportation Committee.
Rep. Bryce Edgmon, I-Dillingham, will again lead the House Majority, which has 25 members, after being chosen to serve a second term as Speaker of the House.
Others on the leadership team include Majority Leader Steve Thompson, R-Fairbanks; Rules Committee Chair Chuck Kopp, R-Anchorage; Finance Committee co-chair Tammie Wilson, R-North Pole; Finance Committee co-chair Neal Foster, D-Nome; and Finance Committee vice-chair Jennifer Johnston, R-Anchorage.
