Music filled North Star Theatre during a collaborative performance on Wednesday, March 20.
The World Premier Artists Collaboration Concert, presented by the Cordova Arts & Pageants, featured four different ensembles and members from Cordova’s North Star Dance Company.
“What they share is collaboration as a crucial part of their creative voice,” Alyssa Kleissler said.
The event was made possible with funding by Rasmuson Foundation through the Harper Arts Touring Fund, with that funding administered by the Alaska State Council on the Arts, she said.
This was also the first time a tour of an artist in Alaska was initiated by Cordovans, Kleissler said.
Cordova was given a unique opportunity to see the collaboration between all four ensemble groups during the night of the concert.
