Church of the Nazarene is sponsoring a Celebrate Recovery program that meets every Wednesday evening in Cordova.
It is a Christ-centered 12-step program that helps us with, “Hurts, Habits or Hang-Ups.” There is a lot of information online regarding the program. In the past, it has been about “them,” but now it is about “us.”
The program is not designed to just address issues with a substance, but also divorce, fear, anxiety, abuse, food, gambling and all kinds of issues that are keeping us from the kind of peace God has promised. It starts at 7 p.m. every Wednesday at the Christian Education Building at the end of Adams Avenue past Mount Eccles Elementary School. Nursery is provided if needed.
