State library will document pandemic impact

Alaska State Library officials are asking to residents to tell them how they are staying in touch with family and friends during the novel coronavirus pandemic and much more.

Their goal is to document how Alaskans have learned to communicate, work, commute, learn, teach, create, pray, celebrate, mourn and give aid to others during a global epidemic.

Questions they want answers to range from what Alaskans see as their biggest challenges to when they realized the historic significance of the pandemic. You can help by sharing documents, images, journals, audio recordings, videos and other digital or tangible items related to COVID-19 in Alaska. Use the SLAM COVID-19 submission form available at lam.alaska.gov/our-covid19-story to tell the state library your ideas
