Law & Order: Aug. 7-13

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police department between Aug. 7-13. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, Aug. 7
Nothing to report.

Saturday, Aug. 8
5:52 a.m. CCMC requested an ambulance for a medical transport to the 13-mile airport. 4:11 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance. The ambulance responded to the scene.

Sunday, Aug. 9
12:08 a.m. Caller reported an incident of domestic violence. Two Cordova Police Officers responded to the scene and arrested Breyan West, age 38, of Cordova, Alaska, for assault in the fourth degree. 6:10 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance. The ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital.

Wednesday, Aug. 12
5:28 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance. An ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital. 7:03 p.m. Caller reported a possible intoxicated driver. An officer responded to the reported location but was unable to locate the vehicle. 7:45 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance. The ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital.

Thursday, Aug. 13
8:18 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Darrel Rollins, age 47, of Cordova, Alaska, and arrested him for driving while having a revoked license. 10:04 p.m. Caller reported assisting a motorist in a ditch and believed they may be too intoxicated to drive. An officer responded and arrested Bradd Patterson, age 59, of Anchorage, Alaska, for DUI, refusal to submit, improper use of registration, and no motor vehicle insurance.

DMV hours
From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments are now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
