Saturday, May 22
1:24 a.m. An officer responded to CCMC for a follow up. 6:36 a.m. An officer responded to CCMC for a follow-up. 5:59 p.m. An officer requested an ambulance for an individual that they had contacted. The ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital. 7:37 p.m. Two officers arrested Jack Jeppson, age 44, of Cordova, Alaska, for a warrant issued for two counts of assault in the 4th degree.

Sunday, May 23
2:55 p.m. An officer responded to the harbor for a follow up. 5:34 p.m. An officer responded to a business for a follow-up. 7:33 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the harbor. 9:25 p.m. Caller reported a dispute and wanted somebody removed from their home. An officer responded and separated the two parties for the night.

Monday, May 24

The ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital. 6:21 p.m. Caller requested to have an individual trespassed from their property. An officer responded and notified the individual of the trespass. 7:40 p.m. An officer assisted a group of boaters in retrieving their boat from the water. 11:24 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at a local bar.

1:50 a.m. The USCG detected an emergency locator transmitter from an aircraft. Thursday, June 3

An officer and an ambulance responded finding the victim deceased upon arrival.

11:23 a.m. Caller reported an individual in a hoodie checking doors on cars and homes. An officer responded to the area and after an extensive search, no suspicious persons were spotted in the area. 2:46 p.m. Caller reported a dog that had been barking all morning. An officer responded to the area and spoke with the dog’s owner. 7:24 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at a local business. 9:45 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at a local business. 9:55 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at a local business.

Wednesday, June 9
An officer conducted an after-hours security check at the 13-mile airport. 8:30 a.m. Caller reported a bear on Lake Avenue. An officer responded but was unable to locate the bear. 9:43 a.m. An officer presided at the Cordova Courthouse for arraignments. 10:56 a.m. An officer responded to a residence for service of civil papers. 1:15 a.m. An officer provided security for the 13-mile airport. 6:44 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the harbor. 7:38 p.m. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle at the Sheridan Glacier trailhead. Thursday, June 10
12:33 a.m. Dispatch received an automated fire alarm for an industrial fish cannery. The fire department responded and found the alarm to be false. An officer conducted an after-hours security check at the 13-mile airport. 11:39 p.m. Caller reported an individual was stuck in the mud at the mud flats near the new harbor. A fire officer responded but found the individual was safe prior to arrival. 11:41 a.m. An officer provided security for the 13-mile airport. 5:11 p.m. Dispatcher received a fire alarm for an industrial building on Whitshed Road. The fire department responded and found the alarm to be false.

Friday, June 11
12:51 a.m. An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport. 10:20 a.m. Dispatch received notification of a panic alarm. An officer responded and found the alarm was accidentally set off. 12:39 p.m. An officer provided security for the 13-mile airport. 5:17 p.m. An officer received a report of a loose dog. The officer responded to the reported area but was unable to locate the dog. 11:29 p.m. Officer conducted a security check at a local business.

Saturday, June 12
An officer located evidence of a vehicle burnout on the Copper River Highway and patrolled the area in search of reckless drivers. An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport.

Sunday, June 13
An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport. 12:52 a.m. Caller reported an intoxicated employee who was being aggressive towards other employees. An officer responded and removed the individual from the premises. 2:06 p.m. Caller reported an unconscious individual lying on the ground. An ambulance was paged but was canceled after an officer arrived and determined the individual was conscious and in charge of their faculties. The officer provided transport for the individual back to their residence. 2:44 a.m. An officer responded to a business to follow up on a case that had occurred earlier in the morning. 12:22 p.m. An officer provided security for the 13-mile airport. 7:52 p.m. An officer conducted a security check of a local business. 9:21 p.m. An officer responded to a residence to check on a defendant on pre-trial conditions. 11:27 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at a local business. Monday, June 14

From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday unless otherwise posted. The DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
