Close Up Presidents’ Day Dinner and Silent Auction

Support CHS students traveling to New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., with this year’s Close Up Presidents’ Day Dinner and Silent Auction. Dungeness Crab (smaller portions for kids) donated by Seafood Sales, rice, coleslaw, garlic bread, homemade desserts and lemonade. Pre-sale only tickets are $35 for adults and $12 for kids under 12. CHS Music Silent Auction

Help CHS music students get to the Worldstrides Music Festival by participating in their online silent auction at tinyurl.com/CHSBandAuction. Auction closes Saturday, Feb. 12.

Salvation Army Sale

The Salvation Army on First Street is having a big rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. on Saturday, Feb. 12. Items may be dropped off until 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11. Please do not leave anything outside of the building.

Pizza and a Movie Night

This event is back on and will take place starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at the North Star Theater. Pizza by the Little Cordova Bakery is free for teens between 5:30 and 6:30 with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings starting at 7 p.m. Admission by donation and masks required.

Food Pantry

The Salvation Army food pantry is located at 514 First St. Primary distribution is 4-6 p.m. the third Monday of each month. If you need food assistance or are interested in volunteering, please contact Katherine Mead at 907-429-7177. Non-perishable food donations can be dropped in the donation box at AC Value Center.

Open Studio Life Drawing
