The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 01-02-2023 through 01-08-2023. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

JANUARY 02, MONDAY: 

  • At 12:53 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.

JANUARY 03, TUESDAY:

  • At 10:00 a.m. a caller reported black ice on the highway.
  • At 11:57 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.

JANUARY 04, WEDNESDAY:

  • Nothing to report.

JANUARY 05, THURSDAY: 

  • At 1:32 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
  • At 7:35 a.m. Andrew Johnson, age 35, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.
  • At 1:13 p.m. Tyler Labruyere, age 48, was arrested on an outstanding warrant, violating of conditions of release.
  • At 2:49 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.

JANUARY 06, FRIDAY:

  • At 2:23 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
  • At 10:41 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local bar.

JANUARY 07, SATURDAY:  

  • At 12:01 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
  • At 12:45 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the Prince William Sound Science Center.
  • At 11:53 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at the ferry terminal.

JANUARY 08, SUNDAY:  

  • At 12:06 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
  • At 7:00 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local restaurant.

DMV HOURS:  Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
