A plethora of items ranging from original art, quilts and Copper River salmon, to jams, chocolates, mittens and XTRATUF boots, are up for bid through Saturday at the annual Copper River Nouveau online auction.

The auction benefits the Prince William Sound Science Center (PWSSC).

On Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. everyone in the community is welcome to participate in the PWSSC’s open house at its new facilities in Cordova, where light refreshments will be provided. Beginning at 5 p.m. the ticketed benefit dinner and auction will be held at the Cordova Center, with the online/silent auction closing and live auction beginning at 8 p.m.
