Artisan Market, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Get your face or hair sparkled, peruse local crafts, and more!

Salmon Jam music festival opens 6 p.m.: Get ready to dance! Must have a wristband to enter. Friday night kicks off with Red Bearded Mountain Goat, Kodi Hannah, Keys on Fire, and the high school jazz band!

Blackwater Railroad Company, 8 p.m.: The Blackwater Railroad Company from Seward takes the stage.

Saturday, July 15

Alaska Salmon Runs, 7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: King salmon marathon, Sockeye half marathon, Coho 10K, Humpy 5K, Smolt one-mile walk and fun run.

Salmon Barbecue 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.: BBQ and Alaska Salmon Runs medal announcements at Pioneer Igloo. Lunch is $15 for adults, $8 for children under 12. Bring a dish to share and get in free.

Salmon Jam Music Festival, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.: Night two kicks off. Local and regional musicians start off a full day of live music! Acts include the O’Towle Family Band, Grace Martin, Witty Youngman, Uncle Salmontooth BG Band, Steve Schoonmaker, The Smyke Family, Hook-Line-and-Singer, Annie Carlson, Dusty Marchant, Jim Maoloney, DAVO, and the Ke Kukui Foundation. Must have a wristband to enter.

Small Fry Activities, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Join the Prince William Sound Science Center, Copper River Watershed Project, U.S. Forest Service and their partners in education at the festival grounds for fish printing, educational games, face painting, and other exciting hands-on activities. Fun for kids and families of all ages!

Taste of Cordova, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.: This community potluck hosted by Noble Ocean Farms will provide an opportunity for attendees to sample bite-sized portions of fresh-harvested dishes. Bring your own dish or just come to sample others.

Artisan Market Open, 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.: More chances to purchase locally-made art, snacks and handicrafts and support our local artists.

Fire dancing, 7:30 p.m.: Fire dancer Zachary Hun’s dangerously fascinating performance.

Repeat Offenders, 8:15 p.m.

Blackwater Railroad, 9:15 p.m.: Blackwater Railroad Company rocks the stage.
