The Cordova Times is actively hiring a weekly distributor to head our circulation department!
A contract position, the responsibility of the distributor is to pick up newspapers from the Cordova Airport’s Alaska Airlines Cargo Office once per week on Thursday afternoons and deliver them to a specific list of storefronts and newsstands in town. The distributor must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and auto insurance. This position is paid according to a weekly rate, which covers time and fuel.
We also understand that people have travel and personal leave throughout the year. Alternate distributors will be made available in the event you are out of town or have to miss a shift due to unforeseen circumstances.
