Counting Needles in a Haystack; The Past, Present and Future of Copper River Chinook Salmon Monitoring by Matt Piche, Native Village of Eyak.

“The unique physical, environmental, and biological variables that exist within the Copper River watershed have limited the monitoring methods and amount of available data on Chinook salmon when compared to the more prolific sockeye salmon. This talk will highlight challenges of species-specific monitoring on the Copper River, overview past and current research, and introduce studies on new monitoring tools and techniques.”
This talk will be Live streamed on PWSSC’s Facebook page.
