Silver Bay Seafoods will pay fine for water quality violations

Silver Bay Seafoods has agreed to pay a $467,469 penalty determined by state environmental officials for water quality violations at its Naknek River processing facility in Bristol Bay.

BBRSDA DONATES $1M for Pedro Bay Rivers Project

Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association has committed to donate $1 million to the Pedro Bay Rivers Project to finalize a conservation easement on 44,170 acres of land owned by the Pedro Bay Native Corp.

Obituary: Carl Fisher

Carl Fisher was born September 14, 1929, in Eugene, Oregon to Thomas and Leah (Schoonover) Fisher. He joined older sister Helen. Carl passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday, June 5, 2022, after a short illness.
