Letter to the Editor: Ranger District says thank you

Dear Editor,

An immense THANK YOU from the Cordova Ranger District to the Cordova community for your ongoing generosity and incredibly high level of support during the government shutdown. Your support was outstanding, heartwarming, and so, so needed for many of us.  In the usual Cordova fashion, you pulled together resources (grocery store gift cards/discounts, free rummage sale items, grocery/pantry donations) and hugs (Thanks Dixie!) which ensured we were not forgotten.

Thank you to all the individuals and businesses that contributed (hope we didn’t forget anyone):  Dixie Lambert, Jessicca Morningstar, Heidi Ritter, Steve Leppert, Penny Oswalt, Charity Wheeler, AC Grocery Store (Rob Gilmore & Mona Perkins), Dave and Cheryl at The Alaskan, Nichols Backdoor Store, AK USCG Aux CPOA – Chief Petty Officer Association, and 3 Bears.

Thank you from the Cordova Ranger District.
