Dear Editor,

Saturday, April 27 we will celebrate the 17th Annual 2X2 Cancer Walk during the Cordova Health Fair. You are invited to join us.

The walk will begin at noon at the high school. The walk will include the Cordova Volunteer Fire Department head shaving event, which supports the 2X2 Cancer Walk.

The Circle of Hope Celebration is a remembrance that honors all residents who have been affected by cancer. We invite and encourage all community members to participate in the candlelight circle.

Participants are requested to register by signing a form at the 2X2 Cancer Walk table at the Health Fair from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

The funds support Cordova residents who need preventive cancer screening or treatment and follow up care. The funds raised stay in our community.
