The coronavirus-positive individual is a Cordova resident, according to data released by the city. The state has been notified of the case, and the city’s medical team is working to identify people who may have had contact with the newly identified coronavirus-positive individual, according to a release by the city.

The newly identified case is Cordova’s 12th overall, and its third believed to have been spread through community contact. Ten of the previously identified cases have recovered, according to data published by the city.
