A man died by suicide at the Reluctant Fisherman Inn Oct. 8, Cordova Police Department officials said. The deceased was a non-resident who traveled to Cordova as part of a small group. Next of kin has been notified.
Police Chief Nate Taylor urged community members who are experiencing depression, or who know someone who is experiencing depression, to reach out to Ilanka Community Health Center or to the Sound Alternatives clinic at Cordova Community Medical Center.
