Friday, Jan. 29
12:26 a.m. Caller reported a dog running loose. An officer responded to the area but was unable to locate the dog. 12:23 p.m. An officer provided security at the 13-mile airport. 6:42 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the post office. An officer conducted an after-hours security check for the 13-mile airport.

Saturday, Jan. 30
5:31 p.m. Caller reported being harassed by an individual in town. An officer is currently investigating this report.

Monday, Feb. 1
An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport. 10:27 a.m. An individual came to the station to report a crime. An officer spoke with the individual and is currently investigating the report. 7:58 p.m. An officer started an investigation on an abandoned vehicle located at Shelter Cove. 11:19 p.m. An officer stopped to assist a vehicle parked on the side of the road with its hazard lights on. 11:23 p.m. An officer advised a group of stargazers that their proximity to the highway was dangerously close, and they could not be seen due to dark clothing.

Tuesday, Feb. 2
12:34 p.m. An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport. 1:51 p.m. An officer provided security at the 13-mile airport. 4:55 p.m. Two officers responded to a business to follow up on a current investigation. An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport.

Wednesday, Feb. 3
12:04 p.m. An officer provided security at the 13-mile airport. 2:46 p.m. An individual came to the station to report a theft of a package. 8:21 p.m. Two officers responded to a residence for follow up on a current case. 8:28 p.m. Two officers responded to a residence for follow up on a current case. 8:52 p.m. Two officers responded to a residence to follow up on a current case. Two officers conducted an after-hours security check at the 13-mile airport.

Thursday, Feb. 4
2:38 p.m. The Cordova Police Department, the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS Alaska Domicile), and the Anchorage Airport Interdiction Team conducted an enforcement operation in Cordova This operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 27g of presumptive methamphetamine and approximately 17g of presumptive Heroin, as well as the arrests of Joshua Field, age 38, and Michael Glasen, age 44, both of Cordova, Alaska. Each man was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd and 3rd degree—class A and B felonies, respectively. 10:51 p.m. An officer went to CCMC to assist medical staff. An officer conducted an after-hours security check of the 13-mile airport.
