Linda Marie Glasen, 72, passed away peacefully and entered eternal life on Thursday, March 7 at Providence Hospital in Anchorage. 

Linda was born in Marathon, Wisconsin on Feb. 21, 1952 to the late James R. Belgram and Phyllis A. Erdman. 

Linda attended Holy Name Elementary School, and Wasau East High School, where she graduated from in 1970. She moved to Manchester, Washington where she worked as a caregiver at Ridgemont Terrace Assisted Living. She met Michael E. Glasen, the love of her life, in Manchester, and they were married at Manchester Community Church on Oct. 6, 1973.  

They relocated to Cordova in 1974, where they raised their family, and lived together for the rest of Linda’s life. Mike and Linda’s family includes their children, extended family members, foster children, and many friends, all of whom they welcomed with open arms. 

Linda touched the lives of many people. She loved God, her family and friends, and life. She was fearless, and lived her life to the fullest. Linda worked hard, fought hard, and loved to serve others. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, building puzzles, adventuring with her children and grandchildren, and spending time with her family and loved ones.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael E. Glasen; her uncle Lyle Lemmer; her sisters Laurie Bergemann and Tina Belgram; her children Kimberly, David, Christopher, Michael, Julie and Robert Glasen; her many acquired children; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  

Linda was preceded in death by her father James R. Belgram, her step-father Floyd Erdman, her mother Phyllis A. Erdman, and her brothers Robert and Russell Belgram.
