The Cordova Public Library staff works hard to keep the freshest batch of good reads on our shelves for you. Debbie Carlson manages our orders with the McNaughton Company, a subsidiary of Brodart. This book lease program allows us to bring in bestsellers and then after a few years, either buy them at a discounted rate or move them out of the collection.
Here are some of the newly shelved adult books:
Non-Fiction:
- Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds and Made Aviation History*
- Scarface and the Untouchable: Al Capone By Max Collins
- The Tangled Tree by David Quammen
Fiction:
- Field of Bones by Judith Jance*
- Leverage in Death by J.D. Robb*
