The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Consultation and Training section will sponsor an OSHA 10-hour construction court at the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage April 20-21.
The course is most suitable for entry-level workers who will receive an OSHA 10-hour card upon successful completion of the course. Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days at University Mall Room 120C.
The fee is $8, cash only.
Instructors will be certified outreach trainers and/or Occupational Safety and Health consultants.
Topics to be covered include OSHA introduction, stairways and ladders, material handling, personal protective equipment and more.
