Water service will be shut off between South First Street and the end of Pipe Street for part of the afternoon. The shutoff will occur Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 3:30–5:00 p.m., according to a city of Cordova release.
The shutoff is necessary to repair a broken line discovered this morning. The break is a large one, said Samantha Greenwood, director of public works.
“Hopefully it won’t take that long, but we always try to err on the side of caution,” Greenwood said.
