The sun still shines in Cordova

After stormy, wet weather and high winds over the last few weeks, Cordova finally caught a break last weekend. This photo was taken at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 overlooking Orca Inlet. Since then, we have gained nearly one hour of daylight with the sun setting around 6:30 p.m. By the end of March, we can anticipate views like this around 8:30 p.m. from Cordova’s South Harbor, a popular spot to enjoy nature’s dramatic evening displays.
