While you might feel like Halloween just closed its haunted doors and it’s too early to hang the lights for Christmas, you’re mistaken. At least according to the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) 2019 holiday shopping trends.

CFRC to auction 100 unique gift baskets

Gift shoppers looking for a shortcut can bid on pre-packed holiday baskets offered by Cordova Family Resource Center. The baskets will be auctioned off Saturday, Nov. 30 at CFRC’s annual Holiday Gifts on the Go event.

Salvation Army reopens food pantry

Cordova’s Salvation Army food pantry has reopened after a seven-month closure. The food pantry dispensed goods to 38 families during a Saturday, Nov. 23 event, its first since April.
